Some of more savvy readers may have noticed that we rolled out a new category yesterday for press releases. Up until this point we’ve avoided posting press releases, although when something of significant importance has come through the wire we’d still write about it, just in our own words. We always wanted to be unique and not post the same content that everyone else was posting.
After several emails from our readers asking that we start posting press releases, we realized it’s something that many of you would like to read about here on the site. We decided that if we could roll them out in a way that doesn’t dilute the great content we have in other categories on the site, that it’s probably a good idea. So that’s why we created the new category for it. Don’t worry though, we still plan on covering the major news in our words and we’ll keep those in the categories most relevant.
For those brands and PR reps interested in sending us your press releases, you can do so through our submit news page and we’ll make sure to get those up on the site.
